The Manager of landfill Operations (MOLO - US) course gives you the tools, information, and confidence to become a first-class landfill manager, leader, and problem-solver who knows where to find answers. Gain the technical and administrative skills to make thoughtful decisions that meet the needs of your community, regulators, and team.
The course consists of 13 recorded modules and one mandatory in-person session.

This course is designed as a hybrid learning experience, requiring you to watch recorded video modules and attend an in-person course review session.
The course includes the MOLO eCoursebook and immediate access to 13 video recordings of the course lessons. You will receive access to the digital course manual within three business days of registration and have online access to it for three years. (The hard-copy coursebook is available at an additional charge and may take up to 10 business days to receive.)
Upon completion of the course, SWANA awards participants 30 Professional Development Hours (PDHs), formerly known as CEUs, to apply toward a current SWANA certification.

Ideal for landfill owners, managers, supervisors, and operators; engineers; consultants; and those aspiring to these roles.
This course is approved by Illinois EPA to fulfill requirements for 15 hours of continuing education credit for licensed landfill operator certification renewal.
