Over the past eight years, Eduardo Rodriguez has served as a Deputy Public Works Director, Operations Manager, Project Manager, Budget Administrator, and Business Analyst in the City of Phoenix Public Works Department. As Deputy Public Works Director, Rodriguez oversees a $60 million operating and $125 million CIP budget, manages a team of 124 employees, and operates the city’s two transfer stations, two material recovery facilities, compost facility, five closed landfills, and one open landfill.
Rodriguez holds a Master of Science Degree in Justice Studies from Arizona State University, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Justice Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Arizona State University. He was named one of Waste360’s 40 Under 40 Award winners.
