Stephanie Sidler has almost 15 years of experience in the waste management and recycling sector. She spent the first six years of her career working in the municipal sector whereby she gained valuable experience through day-to-day oversight of the contracted operations at a municipally owned Material Recovery Facility. Stephanie has a strong understanding of the intricacies of municipal waste management and recycling systems and EPR programs. Additionally she has experience in budgeting, council relations and public outreach.

Stephanie is currently the Senior Director - Municipal Services at GFL. Through her experience in the public sector, she has the unique ability to understand GFL’s customers’ requirements and works to ensure the company provides unparalleled service to clients. She has been an active member of several waste management and recycling associations, including the positions of Treasurer and Vice Chair of Ontario's Municipal Waste Association, the SWANA Recycling Task Force and the SWANA Ontario Board of Directors. Stephanie is currently a Board Member and Treasurer of the National Waste and Recycling Association's Women's Council.
