Sheri Praski is a Civil Engineer working in the Environmental Industry as an independent environmental consultant. She collaborates with municipalities on waste and recycling projects, partners with industry on the diversion of construction and demolition materials, and contributes to environmental, energy, and stewardship programs. Sheri also serves as the Executive Director of the Solid Waste Association of North America Northern Lights Chapter (SWANA), where she oversees education delivery, program creation for the waste and recycling industry, and manages the Landfill Operator Certification program for the Alberta and Manitoba governments.

Her recent and current extracurricular activities include serving on the International Board of the Solid Waste Association of North America, acting as a board liaison with the Recycling Council of Alberta, and being a past Executive of the Saskatchewan Waste Reduction Council.
