Landfill Operations Superintendent

Elizabeth Osborne is currently the operations superintendent at Lanchester Landfill and Reclamation Center. Previously, she worked in the private sector at landfills, managing solid waste collection fleets and routes, and in special/industrial/residual waste. She began her career in solid waste in 1996.
Osborne is certified as a Manager of Landfill Operations and in Composting Programs. She is also the Safety Ambassador for the Keystone Chapter aand SWANA’s Advisory Board Chairperson. In the community, Osborne participates on the Honey Brook Community Partnership Steering Committee and is the Chairperson for Historic Poole Forge Board of Directors, a township park.
Osborne earned her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Master’s degree in Project Management from The Pennsylvania State University.
