As a young professional, Sara Lehman began her career with Wahnapitae First Nation as the Environmental Coordinator. Her degrees in Environmental Sciences and Biology helped to create a foundation of Western Science, that she has adapted to weave with the community’s knowledge and values. In her current role as Lands Director, with support from the Lands staff, she oversees the community’s waste management and environmental services portfolio among a variety of Lands and Resource related responsibilities.
