In this session, two safety leaders will share how their companies reduce risk during collection and how you can, too. Jim Olson of Republic Services will talk about driving safety and how best to protect workers and the public. Shawn Mandel will look at safety during collection stops and how to reduce vulnerability when out of the cab. After a short presentation, Olson and Mandel will engage in a conversation about addressing the leading causes collection injuries and fatalities.
