John is a Registered Professional Engineer in NC with 30 years of relevant civil engineering experience. Experienced in a variety of civil engineering disciplines including transportation, water/sewer and solid waste. Solid Waste experience includes both capital improvement project management and managing the Solid Waste Division for Wake County (since 2012). Wake County Solid Waste manages the South Wake Landfill, the East Wake Transfer station, 11 convenience centers, 3 multi-material centers, 3 HHW facilities, numerous closed landfills and an extensive outreach and education program.
