Cassandra Ford is a Community Program Manager with The Recycling Partnership, a national nonprofit organization that leverages corporate partner funding to transform recycling for good. She currently works directly with communities to implement cart-based residential recycling programs and quality improvement/anti-contamination programs. Cassandra has been a life-long “treehugger” and has spent her professional career in the solid waste management arena, including work with the KS Department of Health & Environment, the City of Lawrence, KS and Bridging The Gap. Much of this work has focused on the creation of business and community recycling programs, composting programs, waste reduction mechanisms, and recycling education campaigns.
