Jean Lucas is the leader of Eco Waste Solutions, an award-winning environmental technology company that custom-engineers and manufactures advanced thermal waste conversion technologies. Ms. Lucas has been with the company for more than 20 years and has been involved in more than 60 projects. In addition to working with clients to design and implement effective waste management solutions, she spearheads the company’s development of new products and has patented 4 new energy-from-waste technologies. She also lectures on the topic of waste-to-energy for the Sustainable Waste Management Post-Graduate Program at Fleming College in Ontario. Jean has a Bachelor of Environmental Science and began her career in pollution prevention, environmental auditing, and waste management planning. She is the Director of the SWANA Waste Conversion and Energy Recovery Technical Division.
