Jay Conroy is the Senior Director of Development for CEP Renewables. He oversees project development and emerging markets for CEP. With over 12 years of solar and battery energy storage system development experience, he has a proven project development track record that includes experience in site acquisition, interconnection, permitting, EPC contracts, financing, REC brokerage, energy off-take, and asset management. He successfully developed the financial proforma for the first stand-alone merchant BESS project in ISO NE. He’s been instrumental in transferring energy assets, having successfully sold assets to numerous Fortune 100 enterprises. His expertise in assessing risk and interpreting market signals has been at the core of his development track record.
