Will Herzog brings over 30 years of expertise to the recycling, construction, and real estate sectors, underpinned by a strong foundation in finance and strategic planning. As the West Coast Sales Manager for Machinex since June 2017, he has played a pivotal role in the company's success. In this capacity, he acts as a bridge between clients seeking solutions and the teams responsible for designing, engineering, manufacturing, and installing tailored facilities. Before joining Machinex, Will held the position of Recyclable Materials Buyer at WestRock in 2016-2017, refining his expertise in sustainable materials procurement. However, his journey in the recycling industry began much earlier when he served as West Region Manager at ReCommunity/Hudson Baylor from 2002 to 2016. In this role, he oversaw multiple aspects of MRF business development, finance, and operations, significantly contributing to the company's transformation from a 9-plant operation into the largest recycling-focused operator in the United States, with 36 individual facilities.
Will's academic achievements include a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College (1990) and an MBA from Boston College (1998). These educational accomplishments complement his extensive practical expertise.
