Waste Connections
Ken Davis is the Director of Risk for Waste Connections, Inc. He is responsible for owning and executing the overall risk management strategy, including oversight of the risk and claims management programs throughout Waste Connections.
Ken has over 20 years of experience as an insurance and claims professional and joined Waste Connections in 2016. Prior to his role at Waste Connections, Ken was the Director of Risk for Nuverra Environmental Services. He began his career 1997 at AIG. In 2002 he moved to the employer side managing claims at Swift Transportation and has remained in the transportation as a Risk and Claims professional since then.
Additionally, Ken has held various roles on the board of directors for the Risk and Insurance Management Society. He has also participated on an insurance development team for the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce and assisted with the development of the Insurance Certification program now offered at Rio Salado College. Ken holds a Bachelors’ degree in Criminal Justice from Northern Arizona University. He also received a certification as a Workers’ Compensation Professional through Michigan State University.
