John King has over 30 years of experience in automotive technology and currently serves as the Fleet and Facilities Management Director for the City of Ocala. The city is among the first to adopt EV technology for a refuse truck fleet in the country. Before this role, he served as Marion County Florida Fleet Director and initiated the opening of Central Florida’s first compressed natural gas fuel station. John was a finalist for the Public Sector Fleet Manager of the Year Award in 2014. He majored in Performance Development at Northwestern University, earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management, and is a Master ASE technician. John’s passion is to seek innovative business solutions for operational efficiencies and cost savings.
