Jesus Torres currently holds the position of Division Manager for the San Diego Post Collection Business Unit. In his current role, he is responsible for general oversite for three active landfill (Sycamore and Otay), one close landfill (Ramona), and one transfer station (Palomar). Jesus has worked for Republic Services for ten years. In his prior role with Republic Services, he served as the Environmental Manager in California and Arizona. His responsibilities as the Environmental Manager included permitting, compliance, project management and site development, and capital management. He has over 15 years of experience in the environmental sector, specializing in solid waste and mining. He has a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from San Diego State University.
