Galen Blanton is OSHA’s Regional Administrator in Boston, in charge of operations in New England. He has been with OSHA for 28 years. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with a degree in Biology, Mr Blanton started his career as a Safety Clerk in the Milwaukee Area Office. His career took him from Milwaukee to Madison, WI as an Industrial Hygienist. He entered management in 2004, as the Regional Auditor in Chicago, then promoting to the Area Director in Hawaii, the Deputy Regional Administrator in Seattle, and in 2017, his current position.
