Managing Composting Programs addresses the essential concepts for successfully managing composting programs, including the rationale for composting, planning and site development, economics, and operations. The course combines self-study with live, instructor-led debriefings that help you ingrain key composting concepts and apply them to your work. SWANA offers this course as a stand-alone learning experience that can also be used to supplement the learning needed to fully prepare for certification in this discipline.

Managing Composting Programs gives industry professionals an excellent grounding in the various issues involved in the management of composting systems, including:

FORMAT:
This course is designed as a 100% virtual learning experience that combines self-study and real-time, instructor-led debriefings. In the debriefings, SWANA-certified faculty members guide you through the key concepts of each lesson and teach you how to apply what you're learning to your everyday work life. The 75-minute debriefings will be held twice a week for four weeks in February 2022..
MATERIALS:
The course includes the Managing Composting Programs digital course manual and immediate access to eight video recordings of the course lessons and any supplemental materials. You will receive access to the digital course manual within three business days. (The hard-copy coursebook is available at an additional charge and may take up to 10 business days to receive.)
CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT:
Upon completion of the course, SWANA awards participants 30 continuing education credits.
