Haley Kunert majored in Environmental Services at the University of California at San Diego and completed a certificate program for sustainability and behavior change. For two years she served as a Sustainability Developer, also known as an EcoNaut, for the UCSD Housing, Dining and Hospitality Department. Hired in 2015 by HF&H Consultants as an Assistant Analyst, Kunert is now a Project Manager. In that position, she assists public agencies in managing solid waste franchise agreements, completing negotiations for new programs, legislative compliance and reporting specific to California, diversion reporting, solid waste procurements, rate reviews and surveys, organics program planning, grant management, and community outreach. When not at work, you can find her staying fit, trying new desserts, chasing dogs, or most likely at Disneyland!
