The PFAS Roundtable will include five presentations from a panel of experts discussing PFAS impacts on the landfill industry. In the first session we will present the latest in regulatory drivers affecting landfill owners and operators, leachate treatment alternatives, and considerations for wastewater biosolids disposal, and in the second session we will discuss sampling strategies for groundwater and leachate and an overview of PFAS and organic fluorine analytical methods. Following the second session presentations we will have a moderated question and answer period to close out the roundtable. Attendees should leave the roundtable sessions with a better understanding of how state and federal regulations on PFAS are affecting landfills, what solutions available for complying with discharge limitations, how to best prepare for complying with sampling and analysis for these forever chemical, and what discussions you should have with your POTW that is treating your leachate.
