Our panel of experts will discuss the application of foam fractionation processes for selectively removing and concentrating PFAS compounds from landfill leachate. Discussion will include the impact of PFAS on Cumberland County, North Carolina and how the County Solid Waste Department is stepping up to part of the solution to the PFAS cycle, the results from recent pilot studies and full scale foam fractionation implementation at landfills, estimated costs to implement, and what disposal and destruction technologies are available now or in development for the concentrated PFAS residue stream.
