As states, municipalities and other jurisdictions develop climate-action and zero-waste plans, finding solutions for the problem of wasted food provides many challenges. From how to prevent waste, how to divert surplus food to feed more hungry people, and how to process the scraps. Join us for this session which will explore best practices for managing wasted food at the city and county level, as well as in businesses and institutions.
