Ashley Krug serves as the City of Springfield’s Market Development & Sustainability Coordinator for the Sustainability Division of the Department of Environmental Services. Ashley is responsible for integrating strategies towards waste reduction and diversion from the landfill, community outreach, and related waste reduction and sustainability programming and operations to advance a more sustainable future for Springfield. Ashley earned her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Drury University and her Masters in City Planning from Boston University. Ashley lives in Springfield MO with her husband, tiny toddler tornado and 2 dogs. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys reading, gardening and generally being "indoorsy."
