Mr. Russell Anderson is a solid waste professional with over 24 years of experience in the solid waste industry, including 16 years in engineering/consulting and 8 years with private solid waste companies as part of in-house engineering. Currently employed with Casella Waste Systems, a vertically integrated solid waste management company with assets predominantly in the Northeast, Mr. Anderson serves as part of Casella’s corporate engineering team with responsibility over various aspects of Casella’s landfill engineering, permitting and compliance programs, and provides the company with in-house expertise in the areas of air permitting, LFG management and LFG energy development. Mr. Anderson previously served as an Area Engineering Manager for Republic Services and has managed both LFG OM&M services and LFG engineering/Air permitting services for engineering consulting firms, including Brown & Caldwell and SCS Engineers.
