Mr. Moore has nearly 40 years experience in engineering and construction, with the past 29 years focused on landfill operations and environmental monitoring. This work has included supervising and training technicians involved in the construction and operation of landfill environmental monitoring systems such as landfill gas monitoring, collection, and control systems, groundwater monitoring networks, landfill liquids management systems, and landfill operational engineering controls such as surveying and computer aided grade and density measurement systems.
Mr. Moore has been certified as a Manager of Landfill Operations (MOLO) by the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) since 2002, and has served as a faculty member for SWANA’s MOLO course since 2009. He was the chair of SWANA's Landfill Management Technical Division's Training Committee from 2014 to 2018, and currently serves as a Regional Director on SWANA's Board of Directors.
Prior to entering the landfill engineering field, Mr. Moore served in a variety of civil and industrial engineering and training development positions while on active duty in the United States Air Force.
