Lewis Griffith has been a manager for the City of Tacoma Solid Waste Division since 2013, serving as Division Manager since 2018, overseeing operations of the Solid Waste utility, with over 160 employees, who provide solid waste and recycling collection and disposal services to the City of Tacoma. Prior to joining Solid Waste, Lewis worked as a civil engineer with the City of Tacoma Environmental Services Science and Engineering Division for 13 years, working on project management of capital improvement projects. He is currently on the Board of Directors and serves as the Treasurer for the Evergreen Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America.
