Jayme grew up in Washington State and enjoy working outdoors in all kinds of environments. After finishing vocational collage, she worked on fishing boats that traveled the Bearing Sea and took her to various ports of Japan. She started her Solid Waste career in 1998 and put her CDL to work, first with Rabanco, and now with the City of Tacoma. She has been with the City of Tacoma for 10 years and the environmental Services Solid Waste Department has afforded her many opportunities to not only drive many different kinds of collection trucks for the commercial and recycle collection operations, but given her great experience in safety training courses. She enjoys photography, coaching soccer, the ocean, and spending time with her family.
