During this session, a panel of experienced YPs will share how they have emerged as successful leaders in the solid waste industry. Time will also be allocated to answer questions from attendees, such as how to position themselves for leadership roles or make an impact in their communities. SWANA’s YP group structure and YP programs will also be highlighted during the panel discussion, including Mentor Match, Young Professional Leadership Academy (YPLA), Student Design Competition (SDC), and Future Leaders Program. Participants will learn about SWANA YP membership benefits, which are aimed at developing YP professional and business skills.
