Hosted by the Communication, Education & Marketing Technical Division!
Experience the newly opened Circular Plastics Microfactory, a facility that remanufactures plastic waste into new products, from hangers to flat-pack furniture or even shin guards and skateboards. A collaboration between Arizona State University, the City of Phoenix, Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona, and Hustle PHX, the Circular Plastics Microfactory is the first of its kind in the United States. The project localizes components along the plastics supply chain, generates revenue for Arizona-based businesses, establishes local end markets, and creates green jobs.
Learn how local businesses and entrepreneurs are benefitting from the recycling facility and how the concept can be broadened to a larger scale.
Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Dress code requirement: Closed toe shoes.
