Widely recognized as the architect of the airline industry’s landmark Aviation Safety Action Programs, Griffith draws on his extensive experience in one of the world’s most regulated, high-consequence industries, where he was responsible for the safety of millions of passengers.

 Griffith will explore the critical intersections of safety management between two vastly different sectors—aviation and solid waste and resource management in a conversation with Lynsey K. Baer, Chief of Engineering at the Delaware Solid Waste Authority. Griffith and Baer will discuss strategies and best practices from aviation that can be directly applied to our industry.
