A technology upgrade - whether it's routing, billing, or data management - can have a severe impact on the day-to-day work of the people committed to making your business succeed. Adoption of new technology can drive a business to greater success, while resistance to change can doom a project before it has a chance. This session examines a large-scale software implementation and some of the decisions that led to success and failure across a three-year period. 

After attending this session, participants will be able to:  

• Identify some of the concerns that personnel have regarding changing technology and business practices. 

• Identify project objectives that create opportunity to drive successful change, and how to implement those objectives. 

• Outline the benefits of clear and effective communication across multiple levels of project implementation, ranging from driver buy-in to project status reports and technology integration issues.
